We're building the infrastructure that lets medical providers stop wrestling with denied claims and revenue leakage, so they can focus entirely on patients. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll embed directly with large healthcare organizations, designing and shipping backend integrations that reshape their billing workflows from the inside out. You'll write production code in Python and TypeScript, orchestrate cloud services on GCP, and build REST APIs that connect legacy hospital systems to a modern, intelligent claims engine. This is not a demo-building role — you'll be the technical backbone of real, multi-month engagements, diagnosing failures in live environments and writing the automation that prevents them from ever happening again.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience, with fluency in Python or Go and a strong grasp of REST API design
- Comfortable working directly with external technical stakeholders — you can debug a customer's integration on a live call and leave them more confident than before
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and the discipline to instrument what you ship
- A bias for writing clear, maintainable code in domains where correctness has financial and operational consequences
- Willingness to work on-site in New York and travel occasionally for client engagements
