You'll own the substrate our researchers and agents run on—waking up to clusters that need right-sizing, debugging a stuck training job before coffee, then automating away the root cause so it never pages again. Afternoon might mean standing up a new cloud region or stripping minutes off a CI pipeline. Every infrastructure decision here directly shapes what our models can learn and deploy.
What they're looking for
- 2-7 years running production infrastructure for compute-heavy workloads, ideally ML or distributed systems
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP); Terraform for provisioning
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines where failure modes are expensive and debuggability matters
- Comfort operating in small teams with high autonomy— you write the runbooks, then make them obsolete
- Strong bias toward observable, reproducible systems over heroic manual intervention
