You are the engineer who loses sleep over millisecond latency in real-time voice streams and knows exactly how to fix it. Your days will involve architecting resilient backends that stress-test conversational AI at scale, ensuring every synthetic interaction holds up under pressure. We need deep technical ownership to build the reliability layer that the entire industry currently lacks.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years of backend development with deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, or Rust.
  • Proven experience designing distributed systems using Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL on AWS or Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in AI tooling, voice technologies, or high-throughput data pipelines.
  • Ability to own infrastructure from code to production using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
