Building the next generation of interactive content for a global audience.

Agent Engineer

RemoteRemote$150K - $250K1 - 8 years
We're rethinking what social video becomes when every clip can react, remix, and unfold in real time. As an Agent Engineer, you'll design the orchestration layer that lets autonomous agents generate, adapt, and personalize interactive narratives at the scale of a mainstream consumer platform. This means reasoning about prompt chains, tool use, and multi-step workflows while keeping latency low and creativity high. You'll work end-to-end—from prototyping an agent's decision logic in Python to wiring it into a TypeScript backend that handles millions of concurrent sessions—shaping a product that millions of people will genuinely play with every day.

What they're looking for

  • 2+ years building with modern LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar) and a deep intuition for prompt engineering, chain-of-thought reasoning, and agent memory
  • Strong backend development skills in Python and TypeScript, with experience designing APIs and services that serve real-time, high-throughput traffic
  • Comfort working across the stack: from event-driven pipelines (Kafka, Spark) to lightweight front-end touchpoints when needed
  • Track record of shipping 0-to-1 features in small, fast-moving teams—preferably at the intersection of AI and consumer software
  • Clear, low-ego communication and a bias toward experimentation; you'd rather test a scrappy prototype this afternoon than debate architecture for a week
