We’re rebuilding the plumbing of enterprise logistics — the EDI and API pipelines that carriers, warehouses, and Fortune 500 retailers depend on every second. As a product-minded backend engineer, you’ll own features end-to-end: shaping the spec with product and design, shipping TypeScript services on AWS, and watching how real supply-chain operators use what you built. This is a team where an engineer’s opinion on user experience carries as much weight as their architecture decisions, and where you’ll refactor a message queue in the morning and pair on a React workflow in the afternoon.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years building and operating backend systems, with deep fluency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience working directly with product managers and designers — you can articulate the “why” behind a feature, not just the “how”
- Comfortable with asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) and designing for reliability under real-world load
- Track record of owning delivery from idea through production, including CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure
- Sharp communicator who thrives in a remote environment and can make complex logistics concepts feel simple to teammates and customers alike
