Property insurance moves at a glacial pace, bogged down by manual underwriting and fragmented risk data. We need an engineer to build the infrastructure that replaces outdated carrier workflows with intelligent automation. You will stitch together Python-driven AI models and TypeScript interfaces to create seamless pathways from raw real estate data to bound coverage. This is foundational work on a small team, directly dictating how quickly and accurately policies get issued.

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years of professional experience shipping production code across the stack
  • Strong command of Python and TypeScript, with practical knowledge of when to deploy each
  • Experience building or maintaining APIs that move sensitive financial or regulatory data
  • Comfortable operating in a growth-stage environment where systems are still taking shape
  • Based in San Francisco and able to work on-site full-time
