AI platform automating financial workflows for the construction industry
Technical Support Engineer
You'll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success, digging into API integrations, SDK implementations, and the messy reality of how construction companies move money. One morning you're reproducing a webhook timeout with a customer's ERP; that afternoon you're writing a Python script to normalize inconsistent lien waiver data so their finance team stops manually copying fields. This is hands-on problem-solving for people who'd rather grep a log than give a canned answer.
What they're looking for
- 2-8 years in a technical support, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed engineering role, with direct exposure to financial systems, ERPs, or API-based platforms

- Familiarity with construction workflows—payment applications, compliance docs, or trade credit—or demonstrated ability to learn complex regulated domains quickly
- Track record of turning frustrated customer conversations into clean bug reports, workaround documentation, or feature briefs that engineers actually use
- Based in or willing to work San Francisco hours; comfortable with occasional on-site customer visits in the Bay Area metro
