Your first year will define the mobile experience for a platform that already serves some of the most recognizable brands on the internet. We're building a React Native application from zero—no legacy code, no inherited architecture, just a blank canvas and a mandate to ship a product that makes community managers genuinely faster and sharper at their work. This is a founding role on a small, well-funded team, which means your fingerprints will be on every screen, every interaction, and the technical foundation that future mobile engineers will inherit.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on mobile development, with deep fluency in React Native and TypeScript—you've shipped consumer or B2B apps that real people depend on daily
- Proven ability to own the full mobile lifecycle: from architecture decisions and CI/CD pipelines through App Store submission and post-launch monitoring
- Comfortable working in a lean, high-autonomy environment where you translate ambiguous product needs into polished, performant interfaces without a detailed spec
- Experience integrating real-time data streams, notification infrastructure, and multimedia handling within a mobile context
- A builder's mindset—you care as much about the business impact of a feature as you do about its code quality, and you're eager to shape product direction, not just execute tickets
