You'll build the software that carries a patient from referral to their first dose: a clinician-facing dashboard in React and TypeScript, Python services that track tumor sequencing results and manufacturing handoffs, and PostgreSQL models where data integrity is a patient-safety issue, not a nice-to-have. The team is around twenty people, so you'll design the schema, ship the feature, and sit next to the biologist who needs it, sometimes in the same week. This is on-site work in San Francisco or Europe, and early enough that the product's shape is still yours to argue about.
What they're looking for
- 1-6 years of software engineering experience with production code in React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL
- Comfortable owning features end to end, from ambiguous whiteboard conversation to deployed and monitored
- Genuine interest in clinical workflows and the discipline to treat healthcare data with appropriate care (HIPAA/GDPR familiarity a plus)
- Willing to work on-site, close to the scientists and operations staff who use what you build
- Bias toward shipping small, correct things quickly in an environment where the requirements are still being discovered
