Founding Customer Support Engineer
We're building a CRM that doesn't ask you to fill out fields—it reads your inbox, listens to your calls, and constructs the system of record on its own. As the first Customer Support Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of deep technical problem-solving and long-term customer partnership, debugging Python and JavaScript in the morning and architecting a scalable support function by the afternoon. You'll work directly with engineering to ship fixes, shape the product roadmap from real-world edge cases, and define what white-glove technical service looks like when the product itself is learning in real time. This is not a ticket-closing role; it's a builder's role on the front lines of an AI-native platform that large enterprises are adopting faster than we expected.
What they're looking for
- 4–6 years in a customer-facing engineering role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Support Engineer for a B2B SaaS product
- Fluency reading and writing Python and JavaScript, with hands-on experience debugging REST API integrations in production customer environments
- Proven ability to triage complex technical issues, reproduce bugs, and collaborate directly with engineering teams to ship fixes—not just escalate them
- Comfort owning customer relationships end-to-end, from onboarding and configuration to long-term health, with the communication instincts to handle enterprise stakeholders
- Bias toward building: you've designed internal tools, improved documentation workflows, or stood up lightweight systems that made a support function more efficient
