You'll spend your mornings reviewing RPC contract proposals between ingestion workers and the search layer, your afternoons pairing with engineers on tricky PostgreSQL query plans, and your evenings debating whether a specific AWS region's latency justifies the failover logic. This is hands-on leadership: expect to ship production TypeScript in Next.js and Node.js, then turn around and unblock your team on Tailwind architecture decisions. Because we're building the backbone that audio AI startups run on, every millisecond and every schema choice ripples outward to teams you've never met.

What they're looking for

  • 6+ years shipping production systems, with at least 2 in a technical leadership capacity
  • Deep fluency in TypeScript ecosystems — you've debugged Next.js hydration issues and optimized Node.js event-loop behavior
  • Demonstrated ownership of relational data models at scale; PostgreSQL is your second language
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant distributed systems on AWS, not just provisioning them
  • Comfort with the ambiguity of a company that's barely a year old: small teams, live systems, real revenue pressure
