You'll spend mornings in our Austin office pair-programming on React interfaces that surface complex ML predictions to mechanics and fleet managers. Afternoon brings whiteboard sessions mapping Rust service boundaries, then shipping Python-backed APIs that keep inventory searches under 50 milliseconds. Your code directly determines whether a shop across town gets the right alternator by Thursday or loses the job entirely.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years shipping production software, with substantial depth in TypeScript and React
- Demonstrated work on marketplace or two-sided platform products where matching and latency matter
- Production experience with Python and at least one systems language; Rust strongly preferred
- Track record of owning features end-to-end, from user research through instrumentation and iteration
- Comfort working on-site in Austin with a team building at the intersection of physical supply chains and machine learning
