Principal Analog/Mixed Signal Engineer
We are rethinking the physics of computation from the ground up—designing chips that harness inherent thermal fluctuations rather than treating them as a liability. The result is an entirely new class of AI accelerator, one that promises orders-of-magnitude gains in energy efficiency at a moment when the power demands of machine learning are becoming untenable. This is not an incremental improvement on CMOS convention; it's a deliberate departure from it. We need a principal-level analog/mixed-signal designer who can bridge rigorous device physics with real silicon, owning circuits that operate comfortably in the stochastic regime where most designers fear to tread.
What they're looking for
- 6–20 years of hands-on analog/mixed-signal IC design experience, with a portfolio of silicon that shipped and worked
- Deep fluency in noise analysis, device physics, and the non-idealities of deeply-scaled or non-standard CMOS processes
- Comfortable writing behavioral models and automation tooling in Python or C/C++ to support stochastic circuit simulation flows
- Track record of owning a full design cycle: architecture, schematic, layout supervision, bring-up, and characterization
- A clear-eyed understanding that this role means inventing circuits for which there is no textbook reference—curiosity and first-principles reasoning are non-negotiable
