You'll architect the backbone that lets machine learning agents spin up campaigns, ingest petabytes of performance data, and rewrite their own creative strategy in real time. This team believes ad spend decisions should flow through infrastructure you can reason about, not dashboards that need human babysitting. We're hiring our first platform-focused founding engineer to make that loop tighter and more reliable.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years shipping production infrastructure for data-intensive systems, ideally in ad tech or high-velocity ecommerce
- Deep fluency in Python and PostgreSQL at scale; you've debugged query plans and replication lag under real load
- Hands-on experience with event streaming—Kafka or comparable—as the nervous system for distributed workloads
- Track record of owning SLOs end-to-end: monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis without a formal ops team
- Comfortable joining an on-site NYC team of ten where you still commit to main and explain tradeoffs in standup
