Founding Engineer

This role is a technical founding member: creating the software backbone to translate health insurance terms into computational tasks using APIs, decreasing the costs of care for patients in the US . Expect to define and implement a cloud-based infrastructure, establish coded rules to guide healthcare billing, and establish partnerships with healthcare stakeholders. You will be the senior-most engineer and technical voice in discussions with clients and vendors. The company values reliability and accuracy — your work will directly impact the cost of healthcare coverage.

  • Proficient in Python, Rust, and/or C/C++
  • Experience with AWS and a production cloud infrastructure
  • 2 to 6 years of professional software development experience
  • Intermediate level of competency with APIs and SDKs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at working across functions
