This team builds hardware and AI that lets beverage and food plants see inside their own processes in real time—catching deviations, slashing changeover waste, and keeping lines running. As Head of Deployments, you will own the journey from signed contract to fully operational system: leading on-site installs, tuning sensor performance against live production conditions, and shaping how a growing field engineering practice scales across customer sites. You will split your time between the factory floor and internal product conversations, making sure what ships actually works where it matters most.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years leading technical deployments, field engineering, or industrial automation projects inside manufacturing environments
- Comfortable troubleshooting hardware, sensors, and software on active production lines—food, beverage, or CPG experience is a strong plus
- Track record of building or refining deployment playbooks, commissioning checklists, and support workflows from scratch
- Able to communicate fluidly with plant managers, maintenance leads, and internal product and engineering teams
- Willing to travel regionally and be based on-site in Boston when not at customer facilities
