Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack — AI Literacy Platform
You'll ship end-to-end features that put adaptive reading coaches directly into elementary classrooms. One week you're tuning a TypeScript API that surfaces real-time student comprehension data to teachers; the next you're building React components that make phonics exercises feel intuitive for six-year-olds. This is hands-on work with immediate classroom impact—every deploy reaches kids who are learning to sound out their first words.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years shipping production full-stack web applications, with deep fluency in TypeScript and React
- Experience designing schemas and query patterns in PostgreSQL for performance at scale
- Comfort working across the stack: from Next.js frontend architecture to API design and backend services
- Track record of building software for non-technical users—bonus if in education, healthcare, or similarly high-stakes domains
- Based in or able to work within US time zones; occasional collaboration hours with West and East Coast teammates
