Software Engineer — Backend & Product

You'll write the Python and FastAPI services that ingest messy revenue data from ERPs and turn it into clean, auditable forecasts that CFOs actually trust. Expect to own features end-to-end: designing APIs, pairing with designers on TypeScript frontends, and debugging why a customer's ASC 606 waterfall just shifted $4M. The codebase is young enough to reshape, old enough to have real users depending on it daily.

What they're looking for

  • 2+ years shipping production backend code, ideally in Python
  • Solid grasp of API design — you've built or maintained something with real load
  • TypeScript comfort; you don't need to be a frontend specialist but you can reason across the stack
  • Experience with data-heavy domains: finance, accounting, or similarly regulated pipes preferred
  • Boston-area or willing to commute hybrid; the team clusters in-person weekly
