This role demands someone who thrives on ambiguity and wants to define the engineering culture from day one rather than inherit it.
What they're looking for
- 5 to 12 years of production experience building scalable web applications with Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Proven track record of owning full product lifecycles in early-stage environments with small, high-impact teams.
- Deep understanding of B2B dynamics within regulated industries such as insurance, health tech, or edtech.
- Ability to translate vague strategic goals into robust technical architectures and executable roadmaps.
- Strong preference for on-site collaboration in San Francisco or New York to drive rapid iteration.
