Making nuclear power portable for a resilient energy future.
Principal Electrical Engineer, Integration & Test
Traditional nuclear reactors are massive, immovable infrastructure projects that take decades to deploy. This role bridges the gap between schematic design and field-ready hardware, leading the integration and test campaigns for a transportable nuclear system. You will architect validation strategies from the ground up, writing the control software that proves the electronics work under extreme conditions. It is hands-on engineering where a grounded circuit or a misread sensor carries real physical weight.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with significant focus on system integration and testing
- Fluency in Python, C/C++, and C# to build and automate test fixtures and control interfaces
- Proven ability to lead hardware bring-up and troubleshoot complex electromechanical assemblies
- Willingness to work on-site in Los Angeles, collaborating directly with mechanical and nuclear engineers
