You'll spend mornings pairing on Rust services that reconcile fragmented brokerage APIs, afternoons shipping TypeScript frontends traders actually touch, and Fridays prototyping Python pipelines that learn from settlement failures. This is hands-on architecture: you'll own systems end-to-end, from protocol-level integrations to the UI that surfaces them. The codebase is young enough that your first commits become load-bearing infrastructure.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years shipping production systems across the full stack, with at least two of TypeScript, Python, or Rust in production environments
  • Demonstrated work on systems where correctness and latency matter simultaneously—payments, trading, lending, or similar financial infrastructure
  • Comfort building from zero: you've written scaffolding, chosen databases under uncertainty, and lived with those decisions
  • Enough product sense to question a spec rather than just execute it; you can articulate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Genuine on-site preference—this team collaborates in person in the South Bay, and you want that density
