Software Engineer - Edge AI Systems
Critical data often originates in disconnected, hardware-constrained environments where sending it to the cloud is unfeasible. This role bridges that gap by pushing large language models and advanced autonomy algorithms directly onto edge devices in the field. You will architect low-latency inference pipelines for real-world robotic and operational systems, ensuring complex intelligence performs reliably when compute is scarce and the stakes are high.
What they're looking for
- 4-10 years of engineering experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++; familiarity with Rust for performance-critical components.
- Proven ability to optimize ML models for resource-constrained edge environments using PyTorch.
- Experience building orchestration layers or agent workflows with Langchain or similar frameworks.
- Background in defense, autonomous vehicles, or robotics ML domains is a significant plus.
