Founding AI Quality & Release Engineer

You'll own the entire validation pipeline for AI agents that reason over massive enterprise datasets—designing test harnesses that catch hallucinations before they reach production, automating release gates across Kubernetes clusters on AWS and Azure, and building the observability that lets us ship daily with confidence. This is hands-on infrastructure work with direct customer impact: when your CI/CD catches a regression, you're preventing a Fortune 500 analyst from getting bad data. Expect to spend mornings debugging a Snowflake connector, afternoons stress-testing agent workflows in Docker, and evenings debating test strategy with the founders.

What they're looking for

  • 7+ years shipping quality infrastructure for production software, including substantial experience with Python or TypeScript in test automation
  • Deep expertise with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes orchestration, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Demonstrated ability to test data-intensive systems—SQL warehouses, ETL pipelines, Airflow DAGs, or similar
  • Track record of building release processes from scratch at early-stage companies, not just maintaining mature ones
  • Comfort operating across the full stack: writing test frameworks, diagnosing infra failures, and collaborating directly with ML engineers on agent evaluation metrics
