Lead Integration & Test Engineer
We are assembling and validating a long-range hypersonic vehicle that must fly farther, faster, and more reliably than anything in the current arsenal. As the Lead Integration & Test Engineer, you will own the campaign that proves it: designing test architectures, writing flight software verification sequences in Python, and directing the physical integration of avionics, propulsion, and structures. This is a hands-on leadership role—you'll be on the floor in Los Angeles guiding a team of technicians and engineers through build-up, check-out, and test execution. Your work will directly determine whether the system meets its margins under thermal and structural loads that leave zero room for error.
What they're looking for
- 5–8 years of integration and test experience on complex aerospace or launch vehicles, including ownership of a full test campaign from planning through flight
- Proficiency in Python for test automation, data reduction, and hardware-in-the-loop scripting
- Deep familiarity with avionics checkout, telemetry systems, and environmental test standards (thermal, vibration, shock)
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes manufacturing and test environment
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
