You'll ship the infrastructure that lets former W-2 freight agents run their own agencies—building everything from CI/CD pipelines that keep brokerage tools reliable to internal dashboards that surface profit-per-load clarity. This is hands-on systems work: architecting deployment flows, catching bottlenecks before they hit 3PL integrations, and deciding when to automate versus when a human still needs the reins. You'll partner directly with ops teams who know the difference between a reefer booking and a dry van cut, so domain fluency matters as much as clean code.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years shipping production systems, with demonstrable ownership of CI/CD tooling and release automation
  • Proficiency across modern infrastructure stacks and a track record of reducing deployment friction in regulated or transaction-heavy environments
  • Experience building for users with deep operational expertise—not just technical peers
  • Comfort making architecture calls in ambiguous spaces without established patterns to copy
  • Willingness to commute to a New York office on a hybrid schedule and collaborate tightly with a team of four
