In your first year, you will architect the backbone that lets community banks and credit unions field millions of member interactions without adding headcount. You will lead the engineering teams building core platform services—voice infrastructure, agent orchestration, and integration layers—while establishing the reliability and security standards expected of financial software. The work sits at a genuine inflection point: moving from proven product-market fit to scaled delivery across a growing roster of institutional clients.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership with at least 5 years managing managers in platform or infrastructure organizations
- Demonstrated ownership of production systems handling high-throughput, latency-sensitive workloads in regulated environments—financial services strongly preferred
- Deep fluency in distributed systems architecture; hands-on recent experience with TypeScript, Python, or both
- Track record of building engineering culture that retains senior talent and ships reliably through organizational growth
- Willing to be on-site in San Francisco and engage directly with technical stakeholders across product, customer success, and compliance
