Early-stage hardware startup building thermodynamic computing chips for AI acceleration.
Senior Analog/Mixed Signal Engineer
You'll spend mornings coaxing signal chains through SPICE simulations, afternoons debugging prototype silicon in the lab, and evenings trading notes with physicists who think about noise as a feature, not a bug. This is hands-on work on circuits that run near thermal equilibrium—every millivolt matters, every tradeoff is novel. The team is small enough that your schematics will reach tapeout without passing through three review boards.
What they're looking for
- 3-6 years designing and verifying analog or mixed-signal circuits in advanced CMOS nodes
- Deep familiarity with Python or C/C++ for simulation automation and data analysis
- Proven tapeout experience with ADCs, PLLs, SerDes, or power management blocks
- Comfort working in a pre-product environment where specs shift as physics teaches you something new
- Willingness to be on-site in Boston several days weekly for lab bring-up and team iteration
