CAE/FEA Engineer
You'll spend your days bridging mechanical engineering rigor with production software—running structural simulations, validating solver outputs against physical test data, and embedding that logic into tools that manufacturing teams actually use. The work sits at the intersection of classic FEA workflows and modern software delivery: Python automation for mesh generation, Git-tracked simulation pipelines, and occasional Go or JavaScript when the front-end needs to surface stress contours to a non-specialist. This is hands-on, not oversight; you will be the person who catches when a boundary condition assumption quietly invalidates a week's worth of runs, and then fixes the script so nobody else repeats it.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years in commercial CAE/FEA roles with demonstrated ownership of multi-physics simulation campaigns
- Strong Python for automation of pre/post-processing, plus working fluency in Git for version-controlled analysis workflows
- Direct experience with structural, thermal, or coupled-field solvers in a product development or manufacturing context
- Familiarity with Go or JavaScript for building lightweight interfaces or API-adjacent tooling around simulation data
- Comfort toggling between deep technical execution and customer-facing problem solving, ideally in a startup or growth-stage environment
