The web is messy, and most of it is locked inside unstructured HTML. We’re building Alexandria: a system that crawls, cleans, and transforms billions of pages into pristine, queryable knowledge for the next generation of AI applications. You’ll own large swaths of the product surface—designing the APIs, shaping the developer experience, and crafting the interfaces that make this data actually usable. This isn’t a ticket-taking role; you’ll talk to customers, prototype in TypeScript and React, reach down into Python when the crawling logic needs it, and ship end-to-end features that define how engineers interact with web-scale data.
What they're looking for
- 3–8 years building and shipping full-stack products, with deep fluency in TypeScript and React
- Strong Python skills and comfort working on backend systems, data pipelines, or API design
- A sharp product instinct—you can spot a leaky abstraction from a mile away and fix it before it ships
- Experience in developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure products where the end user is another engineer
- Thrives in a high-autonomy, on-site environment and communicates with clarity and candor
