Your mornings start where others stop—tracing a latency spike through a Rust service mesh, not because a dashboard flagged it, but because you noticed a pattern in the logs most would miss. You'll own the substrate that lets enterprises deploy thousands of autonomous agents without becoming their next breach headline: Azure-native infrastructure, identity-bound access controls, and the telemetry pipelines that make MCP interactions auditable in real time. This is ground-zero work. The policies you codify this quarter become the default for how Fortune 500s think about machine-to-machine trust.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years building production infrastructure for high-stakes environments—SaaS, security, or regulated industries preferred
- Deep fluency in at least two of: Rust, Go, or Python; willingness to reach for the third when the problem demands it
- Hands-on experience hardening Azure deployments: private networking, policy-as-code, workload identity, cost optimization at scale
- Track record of owning observability end-to-end—distributed tracing, SLO-driven alerting, incident postmortems that actually change systems
- Comfort with ambiguity and real ownership: you've been the first infra hire, or equivalent, and shipped under real constraints
