Senior Software Engineer, Shopping Team
You'll own the full stack of the shopping experience—building checkout flows that integrate tax-advantaged health payments into ordinary ecommerce journeys. One morning you're optimizing a Next.js product page for conversion; the afternoon, you're writing Python services that validate FSA eligibility against IRS guidelines. This is software engineering at the intersection of regulated healthcare and consumer buying behavior, where a dropped request means someone pays full price for recovery equipment they could've funded pre-tax.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years shipping production code across React/TypeScript frontend and Python backend systems, ideally in ecommerce or regulated industries
- Demonstrated work with Next.js, Tailwind, and Django in production environments—not tutorials or side projects
- Experience with payment flows, checkout optimization, or growth engineering; you understand how engineering decisions move revenue metrics
- Comfort navigating compliance-adjacent constraints (healthcare, finance, or similarly regulated domains) without letting them kill velocity
