You'll spend mornings reviewing RPC schemas that move audio metadata between ingestion pipelines and the Next.js dashboard our customers stare at for hours. Afternoons drift between optimizing PostgreSQL queries that power real-time labeling workflows and pairing with the ML teams to surface model performance data in TypeScript components. The frontend isn't decoration here—it's the primary interface researchers use to understand what their models actually hear.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years shipping production software, with substantial depth in Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Experience designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas at scale, preferably with AWS infrastructure
  • Comfort building internal tools for technical users—prior exposure to data-heavy or ML-adjacent domains helps
  • Fluency bridging frontend state management with backend RPC architecture; Python familiarity for ML infra integration
  • On-site in San Francisco with the engineering team
