This role sits at the intersection of engineering and account leadership—you'll embed with customers to design, configure, and harden AI-driven automation that replaces thousands of hours of manual drudgery. One week you're writing integration code and shaping prompt logic; the next you're standing in front of an operations team, mapping their workflow pain points and turning those insights back into product decisions. You'll own the full arc from technical discovery through post-launch expansion, working alongside a small, sharp team that ships relentlessly. The problems are messy, the autonomy is real, and the output changes how entire industries allocate human attention.

What they're looking for

  • 2-7 years in a customer-facing technical role—forward deployed engineer, solutions architect, technical account manager, or similar
  • Strong scripting and integration skills (Python, APIs, SQL); you should be comfortable reading and writing production-adjacent code without a separate engineering safety net
  • Instinct for navigating complex enterprise environments: running workshops, aligning stakeholders, and pushing deals toward measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to distill ambiguous customer requirements into scoped solutions, then follow through on implementation and iteration with minimal hand-holding
  • Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco or New York; you thrive on the cadence and intensity of an in-person, early-stage team
