Construction and real estate still run on PDFs, spreadsheets, and phone calls — and the industry's productivity has barely moved in decades. As our AI Deployment Lead, you'll be the person who changes that for each customer: embedding with construction and real estate teams, wiring our platform into their workflows, and turning rough edge cases into working software. This is a forward-deployed role at its core — part engineer, part problem-solver, part translator between what a project manager says they need and what will actually save them ten hours a week. You'll split time between customer sites and building durable integrations in Python and TypeScript, and you'll have direct influence over the product roadmap from day one.
What they're looking for
- 4-10 years of engineering experience, including time spent close to customers (solutions engineering, forward-deployed work, or technical consulting)
- Strong Python and TypeScript skills; comfortable designing and consuming REST APIs
- Ability to scope messy, real-world problems — especially in construction, real estate, or another hands-on industry — and ship pragmatic fixes
- Clear, patient communicator who can earn trust with non-technical field teams
- Comfortable with the ownership and ambiguity of an early-stage, on-site team in New York or San Francisco
