Member of Technical Staff — Full Stack / Backend Engineer

You'll ship backend systems and full-stack features that power conversational AI products used by real people. One morning you might debug a Python service handling concurrent inference requests; by afternoon you're in TypeScript refining how user context flows through the stack. We're ten people, we sit together in the South Bay, and we expect you to own what you build from first commit to production traffic.

What they're looking for

  • 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience, with solid projects in TypeScript or Python
  • Comfort across the stack: designing APIs, modeling data, and reasoning about system behavior under load
  • Demonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly and ship working code in ambiguity
  • Strong written communication; you'll write design docs and incident retrospectives that the whole team reads
  • Genuine curiosity about AI interfaces and how people build relationships with intelligent systems
