Software Engineer, Developer Experience

Engineers who build for national security and regulated enterprises can't afford a broken build, a flaky test suite, or a deploy pipeline nobody trusts. You'll own the internal developer platform behind a carrier-grade network serving customers who expect zero data leakage and zero excuses: CI/CD, Kubernetes-based tooling, and the golden paths that let a small engineering team ship Go, Rust, and TypeScript safely. The work is hybrid out of New York or Washington DC, with a salary range of $225K to $275K depending on experience.
What they're looking for
- 4-15 years of software engineering, with real depth in infrastructure or developer tooling
- Strong hands-on experience with Go or Rust, plus Python for automation
- Fluency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Git at production scale
- Track record designing CI/CD pipelines that engineers actually enjoy using
- Comfort operating where compliance, audit trails, and security constraints shape every decision
