The open ocean remains one of the most difficult environments for machines to navigate safely without human intervention. You will architect the core perception stack that allows unmanned vessels to detect threats, map uncharted waters, and operate independently for months at a time. This position demands deep expertise in fusing sensor data to create reliable situational awareness in harsh, dynamic conditions.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of experience building production-grade robotics or autonomous vehicle software.
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time embedded systems.
- Proven track record deploying perception algorithms on hardware in marine or outdoor environments.
- Deep understanding of sensor fusion, computer vision, and state estimation techniques.
