You'll spend most mornings refining patient intake flows in React and TypeScript, then switch to Node services that handle insurance eligibility checks before noon. The afternoon might mean pairing with a clinician to debug why a prior-auth form is stalling, or dockerizing a new microservice that keeps patient PHI locked down on AWS. Every line of code you ship directly determines whether someone struggling with treatment-resistant depression gets seen this week or next month.

What they're looking for

  • 2+ years shipping production fullstack code, with solid React and TypeScript fundamentals
  • Comfortable owning features end-to-end: PostgreSQL schema decisions through to Dockerized deploys on AWS or GCP
  • Experience building for regulated or high-stakes domains—healthcare preferred, fintech or legal tech works too
  • Genuine interest in clinician workflows; you ask questions when a UI pattern might slow a nurse down
  • Based in NYC or willing to commute hybrid; the team still whiteboards together when mapping complex care pathways
