Senior Data Scientist - Product
We’re building the intelligence layer that matches exceptional recruiters to the roles nobody else can fill. As the first product-focused data scientist on a small but growing team, you’ll shape the algorithms behind recruiter-job matching, search ranking, and pricing models that power a two-sided marketplace. Your work will directly influence how thousands of recruiters find opportunities and how companies discover talent they’d otherwise miss. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll prototype models in Python, partner with engineers to ship them, and design the experiments that tell us what’s actually working.
What they're looking for
- 4–8 years of applied data science experience, with at least 2 years focused on product-facing work like experimentation, search relevance, or recommendation systems
- Strong Python skills and comfort writing production-oriented code alongside engineering teams
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests in a marketplace or consumer product environment
- Track record of translating ambiguous product questions into crisp modeling approaches and measurable outcomes
- Comfortable working on-site in San Francisco with a collaborative, iteration-driven team
