This team ships AI that doesn't just generate reports—it takes action inside the workflows of go-to-market organizations. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you won't be confined to a ticket queue. You'll embed directly with strategic customers, writing production Python to solve messy integration, configuration, and customization challenges that sit at the intersection of large language models and enterprise sales stacks. Every engagement sharpens the product itself: you'll translate field-won insights back to engineering, shaping the roadmap from the code forward. It's a role for builders who think a perfect handoff is a myth and would rather fix the root cause than document a workaround.
What they're looking for
- 2–6 years of professional software or solutions engineering experience with strong Python fluency
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about unfamiliar codebases and third-party APIs under real deadlines
- Clear, confident communicator who can guide a customer's technical team without relying on slide decks
- Bias toward shipping durable fixes over temporary patches—you'd rather improve the product than route around it
- Located in or willing to relocate to San Francisco and excited to work in-person alongside a tight-knit engineering team
