This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and operational design, driving the build-out of internal tooling, automation workflows, and project infrastructure that let our domain experts move faster than the models they feed. You'll own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end: scoping requirements, writing Python to stitch systems together, and shaping the processes that turn raw expertise into structured intelligence. What they're looking for
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and light tool development—you reach for code before a spreadsheet.
- 3+ years leading complex operational or technical projects, ideally where the solution wasn't obvious at the outset.
- Demonstrated ability to design workflows and systems that scale human judgment alongside machine throughput.
- Strong analytical instincts: you structure ambiguous problems, define success metrics, and kill initiatives that aren't working.
- Comfortable on-site in San Francisco five days a week—this work depends on high-bandwidth, in-person collaboration with engineering and domain teams.
