What they're looking for

  • 5–7 years shipping production software, with substantial depth in Python and modern React
  • Demonstrated experience designing APIs and backend systems under real load, FastAPI or equivalent frameworks
  • Track record of building with LLMs or autonomous agents beyond prototyping—evaluation, routing, failure modes
  • Comfort owning full-stack features from database schema to user-facing interaction, solo or with minimal oversight
  • Based in San Francisco or Los Angeles metro, or effective working remote with periodic in-person collaboration
