Your mornings start with tracing why a Kubernetes pod in the EKS inference cluster is OOM-killing during peak traffic. You'll rebuild the CI pipeline that takes a model from Jupyter notebook to production API in under twenty minutes, then pair with a data scientist to Terraform a new multi-region VPC for a retail client launching tomorrow. This is infrastructure work where bad latency directly means bad insights for brands making multimillion-dollar decisions.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years owning production AWS infrastructure at scale, with deep EKS and networking expertise
  • Proficiency in Terraform for declarative infrastructure and Python for automation, not just glue scripts
  • Proven track record designing CI/CD pipelines that serve both ML and traditional software workloads
  • Experience hardening containerized deployments: observability, cost optimization, and incident response
  • Comfortable as the senior infrastructure voice in a small technical team making architecture calls that stick
