Your first year will be measured by the product surface area you own end-to-end: shipping intelligent merchant workflows that feel instantaneous, designing data models that feed real-time pricing engines, and hardening a platform that processes thousands of transactions without a hiccup. This is a small, San Francisco-based team that believes the gap between frontend and backend is artificial—you'll move through the entire stack as a single craft. You'll work directly with merchants to understand where the platform breaks down, then design and ship the fix before they finish their coffee. The problems here sit at the intersection of LLM reasoning, inventory logic, and checkout performance—no two sprints look the same.
What they're looking for
- 2–3 years building and shipping full-stack web applications in a production environment
- Fluency with a modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, or similar) and a backend language like TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Comfort reasoning about data models, API design, and database performance
