Senior Applied AI Engineer

A small applied research team inside a global enterprise software company is rethinking how industrial operations get managed. They are embedding reasoning agents, causal models, and large-scale optimization directly into the systems that schedule production lines, route fleets, and allocate warehouse capacity across continents. The work lives at the intersection of language models and the physical economy — where a bad prediction doesn't lose a click, it halts a manufacturing cell. You will design and ship AI capabilities that reason over structured operational data, generate executable plans, and explain their own logic to engineers on the factory floor. This is applied research with an unusually short path to production: prototypes move into customer environments in weeks, not quarters.
