You'll push the boundaries of how deep learning models anticipate physical goods flows—inventory, production, transit—at a young research team headquartered in San Francisco. This is hands-on applied science: designing architectures, training at scale, and seeing your models directly reduce spoilage, stockouts, and carbon footprints for enterprise supply chains. We're small, well-funded, and serious about bridging the gap between novel method and production deployment.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years post-PhD or equivalent experience in machine learning research, with a track record of published or deployed work
- Deep expertise in at least one major framework: PyTorch or TensorFlow, with fluency in Python and large-scale experimentation
- Proven ability to reduce complex supply chain, time-series, or structured prediction problems to trainable objectives
- Comfort shipping research into production environments and iterating based on real-world feedback loops
- On-site presence in San Francisco; we believe proximity accelerates the kind of tight research-engineering collaboration this work demands
