Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Focused)

You'll spend most days architecting the data layer that translates factory floor chaos into structured intelligence—designing APIs that ingest sensor streams, inventory states, and contract requirements, then serve them through clean GraphQL schemas to React dashboards used by plant managers and procurement officers. The backend systems you build will handle everything from multi-tenant PostgreSQL partitioning to containerized deployments that keep critical defense supply chains running without interruption. You'll collaborate directly with engineers shipping frontend components, ensuring the seams between Python services and user interfaces stay invisible.

What they're looking for

  • 3–7 years building production systems in Python, with substantial work in FastAPI or similar modern async frameworks
  • Deep experience designing PostgreSQL schemas for complex, multi-tenant applications with performance at scale
  • Strong command of GraphQL API design and the tradeoffs between flexible querying and backend efficiency
  • Hands-on DevOps practice with Docker and CI/CD pipelines—comfortable owning deployments end to end
  • Working knowledge of React and willingness to step into frontend code when the full picture demands it
