Full-Stack Software Engineer

You'll ship features that directly determine whether someone gets a same-day specialist appointment or waits three weeks. One morning you might tune PostgreSQL queries pulling provider availability; by afternoon you're wiring a Next.js interface to a Rails API so patients can actually see open slots in real time. Most of your code touches systems where reliability matters—missed appointments here mean real medical delays.

What they're looking for

  • 3–7 years shipping production software, with substantial work in Ruby on Rails and modern React frameworks
  • Solid grasp of relational data modeling and query optimization in PostgreSQL
  • Experience deploying and monitoring services on AWS; comfort with infrastructure as code a plus
  • Track record building consumer-facing products where usability and fault tolerance both matter
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work from the San Francisco or Boston metro at least part of the week
