Security Engineer
Your first year will reshape how we think about security across three major clouds. You'll inherit a footprint spanning AWS, GCP, and Azure, then design the guardrails that let our engineering organization move fast without moving recklessly. This isn't a compliance checkbox role — you'll be hands-on with infrastructure, partnering directly with product teams to embed security into the development lifecycle, and building the detection and response capabilities that protect both our platform and the thousands of businesses that depend on it. The surface area is broad, the stakes are real, and the autonomy is yours to define.
What they're looking for
- 3–8 years in security engineering, with demonstrable depth in at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure and working familiarity with the other two
- Comfortable writing detection rules, hardening containers and Kubernetes clusters, and reasoning through IAM policies at scale
- Experience collaborating with product engineering teams — you review architecture, threat model features, and help ship secure code, not just block it
- Strong instincts for automation: if a security task repeats, you script it away rather than documenting a manual process
- Clear communicator who can translate risk into engineering decisions without resorting to fear or jargon
