As our senior mechanical hire, you will architect and deliver the physical systems that close this gap, turning advanced AI into tangible, reliable robotics. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own the mechanical design process from concept through manufacturing, working directly with a small, specialized team in the South Bay.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, specifically in robotics or complex hardware development
  • Proven track record of designing mechanisms and enclosures from initial concept to full-scale production
  • Deep expertise in DFM, tolerance analysis, and selecting manufacturing processes for B2B hardware
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and structural simulation tools
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in the South Bay Area to rapidly prototype alongside software and electrical engineers
